Layer One:
- The closed cell foam layer of Soundmat is the component that balances and attenuates the speaker back waves that are created. In turn this creates a clearer, deeper listening experience with precise full bass response.
Layer Two:
- Forms a barrier in which the foam can perform to its best ability while creating a firm layer for the tar free butyl to bond to so it performs as intended. The aluminum foil layer also acts as an additional barrier between the outer door and the cabin.
Layer Three:
- This creates the bond when installed that primarily holds Soundmat firmly in place and blocks outside noise getting into the cabin of the vehicle. The less noise allowed in means higher volume created by the speakers and a listening experience that is enhanced.
