If you need a small format Subwoofer that really delivers in extremely small enclosures, this is where your search ends.  The 6W3V3-4 is a true Subwoofer, through and through.  It employs the same technologies as its larger diameter brethren to deliver a whopping 0.4" (8.9 mm) 1 way linear excursion.

The 6W3V3-4 is best used through amplifier power in the 50 - 150 W range and is optimized to operate in a tiny 0.2 cubic FT (4.2 L) sealed enclosure, or a 0.3 cubic FT (7.1 L) ported enclosure.

Enclosure notes:

• The enclosure recommendations listed are external dimensions which assume the use of 0.5" (13 mm) thick material.  Do not use any material through a thickness of less than 0.5" (13 mm) as this may compromise the rigidity of the enclosure
• All enclosure volumes listed above are net internal volumes!  Driver, port and brace displacement must be added to obtain the final gross internal volume.  All enclosure dimensions above have already taken this into account
• When using multiple Subwoofers in a common enclosure you will need to recalculate the enclosure and port dimensions.  For assistance please contact your authorized JL Audio dealer or technical support
• We recommend the use of this speaker in a bi amplified system using high quality satellite speakers and an amplifier.  We do not recommend the use of this Subwoofer through a passive crossover (coil), as this type of device will adversely affect performance
