JBL / Selenium D3504TI-ND-DPD: Full Range Neodymium Titanium Compression Driver

The D3504TI-ND-DPD model is an ultra high quality Compression Driver for professional use wherever high SPL and low distortion are of great concern.  Its pure Titanium diaphragm was especially designed based on the extremely light and structurally strong snowflake crystal.  This leads the D3504TI-ND-DPD Driver to deliver high performance, quality and value for the pinnacle in sound reinforcement applications.  It is recommended for use in arenas, stage monitors, side fills and sound reinforcement systems.  This model features a high flux density magnetic assembly through Neodymium ring and copper shorting ring and a protection circuit DPD (Driver protection device).  This circuit uses a PTC and a HPCCR resistor assuring more reliability under overload conditions.  The voice coil is made of high temperature wire wound on kapton former to withstand high operating temperatures.  A precisely engineered diaphragm structure and alignment mechanism allows for easy, reliable and cost effective repair in case of diaphragm failure.  Through a 1.4" exit throat and standard bolt pattern, the D3304TI-ND-DPD directly couples to Selenium horns through 36 mm throats.  The base and cover are injected aluminum, assuring high mechanical resistance and a very shallow profile.
