4 K in a Dash Camera is not a gimmick. It is a game changer. It is not about playing videos on a giant screen, although you could do that too. It's about providing video proof. A Dash Camera is only as good as its ability to capture crucial details, usually license plate numbers. The 8 megapixels 4 K UHD sensor does just that by capturing 4 times as many pixels as in full HD. And through its fast shutter speed, details are frozen in place, just pause and zoom in.
Seamless pairing through the BlackVue app
Effortless setup. Secure. No password. Through seamless pairing, setting up your Dash Camera is a breeze. Just power the Dash Camera, then easily connect from the BlackVue app and follow the simple instructions. Whether you want to browse your Dash Camera's files and settings or connect your Dash Camera to the cloud, seamless pairing makes everything easy and intuitive.
Set up (easily) and forget:
BlackVue Dash Cameras are very easy to install. Attach the front unit to the windshield behind the rear view mirror through the provided double sided tape. This way, the Dash Camera is invisible to the driver's eye. Simply plug the power cords into the cigarette lighter / accessory power socket of your vehicle and it will automatically start recording as you turn ignition on (no need to push any button). Once set, you can forget about it, knowing it will reliably record your drive.
Your videos are safe:
Event files overwrite protection: Dash Cameras record in a loop, overwriting older files when the memory is full. BlackVue DR900S-1CH can prevent event files (triggered manually or by impacts) overwriting. Up to 50 files can be protected this way. You can choose to allow new event files to overwrite past event files, thus keeping the latest 50.
Adaptive format free file management: this BlackVue developed file system improves recording stability and requires less micro SD card formatting.
SD card failure alert: your BlackVue detects as soon as the micro SD card fails and warns you via a "please check SD card" voice alert.
Built in speaker, impact sensor and motion detection:
Speaker: your Dash Camera tells you when it turns on, shuts down or detects errors. Accelerometer: detects impacts to trigger event recording. Enables parking mode when stationary for 5 minutes. Automatically tags video files: while driving, the built in accelerometer (G sensor) detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, your BlackVue also detects visual movements around your vehicles (in motion + impact detection mode).
Use the filters in the BlackVue app and viewer: BlackVue tags all videos (normal, event, parking mode, etc.), so that you can filter them and quickly find the ones you need in the BlackVue viewer (windows, mac OS, web) or the BlackVue app (android, iOS).
Sleek interface:
Touch sensor: tap the touch sensor to trigger manual event videos. Format button: hold to format the micro SD card. Secure micro SD card access: unplug the DC in power connector and pop the cover open to reveal the micro SD card slot.
BlackVue app (iOS, android) and viewer (windows / mac):
Easily manage your video files. Easily change your BlackVue configuration settings and browse your videos on your mobile or computer. Through the BlackVue app, connect to your BlackVue to access files and check real time live view for easy setup of your Dash Camera. Through the SD card viewer, connect your Dash Camera’s micro SD card to your computer to view and backup footage in bulk, as well as export clips, remove sound, etc.
BlackVue cloud:
Connect to your BlackVue anytime, from anywhere in the world through BlackVue cloud. Receive push notifications on your phone whenever the Dash Camera detects an impact on your parked vehicle, and see for yourself through remote live view. Even better, let BlackVue upload critical footage, such as break in or hit and run, in real time to the cloud through live event upload. Play and download videos from your Dash Camera or the cloud from anywhere and back up important videos to the free cloud storage. Enjoy 2 way voice communication through the driver from the app through the BlackVue’s integrated speaker and microphone.
LTE connectivity module (optional):
Unlock BlackVue cloud access. Share WiFi in your car. The CM100GLTE provides easy 4 g LTE connectivity to enable BlackVue cloud features. All you need is a valid nano sim card. The CMG100LTE is powered and connects via the USB port of your Dash Camera. When connected to the CM100LTE, BlackVue DR770X-series can serve as a mobile hotspot providing wireless internet access to up to 5 devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
Note: when purchasing, make sure the CM100LTE you choose is compatible alongside your mobile carrier’s network.
Tamperproof case (optional):
The BTC-1C is a special purpose mount designed to prevent tampering. It replaces your Dash Camera's original mount. The side cover, fastened by 2 hex screws, blocks the access to the micro SD card and the cable connectors.
Triple protection:
Locks the Dash Camera’s angle via an hex screw to prevent rotation. Blocks the access to the micro SD card slot. Protects against the unplugging of the power, video and USB cables.
