Using engineering and design from the ultra High-Resolution Alpine F1 Status-Series system, the HDS-990 features exceptional tooling and rich build quality for the best possible sound reproduction.

The HDS-990 features a commander unit through 6 chiclets that access various sound and music controls and a High-definition display that features song information.

The unit can be conveniently mounted to the dash and used as a standalone music source or integrated through the factory or aftermarket head unit via the RCA or 4 channel High-level inputs to easily switch between Digital music sources.

The HDS-990 has multiple Digital source inputs that can play a wide range of music file formats from MP3 to High-Resolution for flexible Playback options.

Either connect a smartphone or mass storage device via a wired USB connection or input or wirelessly via Bluetooth and LDAC connection.

High-Resolution music can be accessed on popular streaming services like apple and amazon music HD, tidal, and more or purchased and downloaded from platforms like HD tracks.

The Alpine Status-Series system is sold separately and can be used to build a custom sound system.

3 sets of true 4 V preamp outputs are included to add additional amplifiers if more power is needed.
