The Zurich Dual Mono in-Ceiling speaker model, the ZUR 6.5 ICDM reproduces both channels of sound from a single speaker location, which permits great sound even when the décor or layout allows only one speaker. Easy 1-2-3 Installation: (1) cut a round hole, (2) Rout two speaker wires to your music source, (3) Insert speaker in the opening & rotate the safety cams to secure speakers. Use the included in-ceiling Acousti-Seal baffle enclosure to enhance the sound or remove the Acousti-Seal baffle when unforeseen mounting obstructions are found during installation. The speakers are neutral in their timbre-balance permitting seamlessly matching with other speakers used as part of a home theater system. In applications where there is no subwoofer within the room, removal of the enclosure will cause a boost in the perceived bass response. The dual-mono design is problem curing for installs where pairs of in-ceiling speakers can not be utilized.
