This device can be used as a transmitter or a receiver at the switch of a button. The range is up to 75M - this allows Bluetooth connectivity throughout the house for most homes.

-You could add this to your older stereo and then Bluetooth stream Apple Music or Spotify etc from your phone or tablet.

-Or you could add this to the audio output of your stereo or TV and then Bluetooth transmit the audio signal to a remote Bluetooth speaker at the hot tub as an example.
