10.1" HD 1280 x 720 pixels gapless anti glare capacitive touchscreen:

The newly designed tilt and swivel mechanism lets you manually adjust the oversized high definition display's viewing angles.  The display joint's screw less structure gives you a range of ± 15 °, both horizontally and vertically, and no tools required, even after installation. 

Customizable viewing angle for every journey:

The display joint allows you to manually tilt and swivel the display, both at ± 15 °, to suit your personal preference.  This range of movement allows you to not only alter the angle according to your preferred seating position, but also to avoid things like direct sunlight reflection, or to share the navigation screen to your passengers.

How it works:

The screw less tilt and swivel mechanism is designed to be easily adjusted without tools yet remain static and stable even under harsh vehicle vibration.  Both tilt and swivel move step less for fine customization to your liking.

Installation settings:

The sturdy display joint offers screw fastening 4 way installation adjustment, including subwoofer tilt for horizontal swiveling, making it easier to position the oversized display perfectly.

Quick wakeup:

Through Sony's quick wakeup feature, you're ready to go right after turning on the ignition.

Single din chassis for flexible installation:

Despite its huge screen, the main unit is packed in a single din chassis for flexible installation in both single and double din dashboards, while still leaving plenty of room for cables and harnesses when installed in double din vehicles. 

Wireless smartphone conversion:

Thanks to a WiFi connection from the user's smartphone, together through the supplied GPS antenna, connection to apple CarPlay or android auto compatibility can be done wirelessly even if the device is in a pocket.

Apple CarPlay:

Apple CarPlay enables IPhone users to make phone calls, listen to music, send and receive messages, access their favorite apps, get directions through real time traffic conditions, including 3rd party navigation apps, and so much more directly from the dashboard, all while allowing the driver to stay focused on the road.

Android auto:

Designed through safety and convenience in mind, android auto is a simpler way to use a smartphone through the car audio's display.  Drivers can talk to google assistant on android auto and stay connected, entertained and informed while keeping their eyes on the road.  Just say "hey google" or press the voice control button to get started.

Sound customization:

The built in DSP offers sound processing and time alignment, down to a remarkable 1 cm for each of the 5 addressable channels (4 speakers + subwoofer via preout).  A 14 bands EQ lets you adjust the overall sound to your music or taste.  Together through the 3 zones crossover, you can dial in the perfect match of front, rear and sub. 

LDAC for exceptional sound quality:

Enjoy the convenience of Bluetooth wireless audio and exceptional sound quality thanks to LDAC.  Connect compatible devices to stream audio at 96 kHz / 24 bits sampling through bitrates up to 3 times higher (990 KBPS) than conventional Bluetooth.

High voltage preout (5 V):

In general, head units deliver 2 V audio signal, meanwhile Sony's head unit through high voltage preout gives 5 V signal, which realizes clearer sound through less distortion when the head unit is used connecting to power amplifier.  The more voltage you have at the line level, the less amount of external noise on the signal path will be amplified through the power amplifier.  This is because when the input signal voltage is higher, gain level at the power amplifier can be decreased for obtaining the same output level to speakers.
