About the Alpine I509-WRA-JL: 9" Weather Resistant Digital Media Receiver
The display is housed in a jeep specific trim bezel that emulates the look and feel of the jeep dash. A jeep specific harness is included through the Receiver to take out the guesswork during installation and make it a true plug and play solution. The Weather Resistant display features a jeep specific opening screen and LED color scheme for a consistent design through factory jeep settings.
High resolution audio:
Experience incredible music detail through high resolution audio playback. High precision music reproduction brings out the full potential of every song and makes every drive feel like an intimate recording studio session through your favorite artist. Access your favorite songs on popular high resolution streaming services like apple music, tidal, amazon music HD, and more. The I509-WRA-JL plays high resolution music at it's intended specification of 96 kHz / 24 bits via a wired USB connection to a smartphone or wirelessly through Bluetooth connection. You can also purchase and download high resolution music files onto a USB drive from platforms like HD tracks and plug directly into the Receiver for high resolution playback.
Apple CarPlay (wired & wireless):
The I509-WRA-JL works through apple CarPlay and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is accessed through the capacitive touchscreen or the microphone button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible alongside iPhone 5 and later.
Android auto (wired & wireless):
The I509-WRA-JL includes android auto and works through the google assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth connection; requires an android phone running 5 (lollipop) or higher and the android auto app). To access the google assistant on android auto, say "OK google" or select the microphone button. Google assistant in android auto allows users to play their favorite music, get driving directions to their destination, interact alongside smart home devices, and reply to text messages, hands free.
