Alpine S2-S65C: 6.5" Component Speakers

It's time for high resolution:

We're big fans of Alpine's push to give more drivers access to high resolution audio in the car.  Using technology developed for their flagship F1 status-series, Alpine's next generation S-series car Speakers provide access to all the wonderous detail of your favorite high resolution audio files at an appealing price.  We recommend aftermarket power to drive these Speakers, but even through factory power, their ultra wide frequency response ensures a detailed, authentic sound.

Innovative materials:

Alpine packs supreme capability into these Speakers by using highly effective materials and proprietary design elements.  The lightweight woofer cone, crafted from polypropylene, glass fiber, and mica materials, serves up the essential high output / low distortion sound required for high resolution performance.  The high amplitude multi roll (HAMR) surround brings out the best in bass by allowing maximum cone movement.

A 1" separate silk dome tweeter serves up all the high frequency detail you've been missing through factory sound.  Because tweeters can be challenging to install, Alpine provides in line crossover systems and a threaded removable housing to make sure you have what you need to make them sound their best.

Grilles are not included; the factory grilles should be suitable for most applications.  Optional grilles are available for custom installations.
