Alpine R2-S69: 6 x 9" R-Series Next-Generation Coaxial Speaker Set

The Next-Generation R-Series sound system line features the same "loud and fun" experience now certified for high resolution playback.

Using "trickle down" technology, inspired design, and performance cues from the ultra high resolution Alpine F1 status systems, the next generation R-Series Speakers feature high resolution playback capabilities that will take this legendary system to the Next-level in sound performance.

The Speakers are high resolution audio certified and able to reproduce up to 40 kHz frequency response.

The R2-S69 is a standard-Series Coaxial Speaker Set that includes a  6 x 9" mid range and 1" Coaxial tweeter that is designed to fit into full sized trucks or vehicles through 6 x 9" factory Speakers and a flexible crossover network that simplifies installation.

The Speakers utilize a traditional composite basket and a new glass fiber reinforced cone that attributes to more motion and less distortion from the cone during playback.

Magnesium, hard dome tweeters contribute to the "loud and fun" R-Series sound signature and feature a swivel mount design for optimal listening positioning and threaded removable housing for flexible factory applications.

The Next-Generation R-Series Speakers utilize a ferrite magnet, different from the neodymium from previous generations, and a larger motor structure that contributes to more mid bass during the playback.  Despite the larger motor structure, the Speakers still maintain the same depth for easy installation.

Continuing through the Next-Generation R-Series Speaker line is Alpine exclusive high amplitude multi roll (HAMR) surround technology that increased excursions while maintaining linearity for more accurate music reproduction.
