The DDJ-FLX2 works alongside popular DJ applications for beginners and professionals including Rekordbox, DJay, and serato DJ lite.  After installing a preferred app on a mobile device, DJ's can connect to the Controller and start DJ'ing right away.  DJ's can also access more advanced features by connecting the DJJ-FLX2 through DJ software on a PC / mac.

Mix easily through smart CFX and fader:

It’s easy to replicate the seamless song mixing of professional DJ's thanks to the smart CFX and fader features on the DDJ-FLX2.

Smart CFX enables DJ's to recreate complex and dynamic effect techniques used by professionals through a simple turn of a knob.  Use smart CFX to connect tracks together and to make performances more dynamic by adding emphasis to the music.

Smart fader automatically optimizes control of the volume, BPM, and bass, which is all needed when transitioning between tracks, and all users have to do is slide the crossfader in one direction.  DJ's can easily mix tracks from different genres, even if they have vastly different tempos (BPM).  Function names and operations may vary depending on the DJ application used.

Lightweight, compact body through user friendly features:

The DDJ-FLX2 is Alpha Theta's lightest and most compact DJ Controller, so DJ's can take it anywhere to play.  It runs on USB bus power, eliminating the need for an external power supply when connected to a PC / mac or a mobile device via USB type C.  DJ's can get started easily by playing music through the built in speakers on a PC / mac / mobile device, or, through speakers when plugged into the audio output terminals of the DDJ-FLX2.  DJ's can level up their skills using headphones to cue up tracks and by learning various DJ techniques, except for some android devices.

Performance pads for professional style DJ'ing:

It's easy to manipulate music through the DDJ-FLX2's performance pads.  Pad mode select allows DJ's to switch between various modes, including hot cue mode to mark any point in a track, e.g., the intro or chorus, like a bookmark, allowing DJ's to instantly jump to that point.  Through pad FX, DJ's can apply a variety of effects simply by pressing the pads to add a personal touch to the music.  And, using the sampler, DJ's can add sound effects or try performance techniques like finger drumming.
