Following on from the highly reviewed, Teac Aurb, the Teac SR80i offers the same style and class-leading sound quality but in an even more compact casing.
Although compact and stylish, this Teac iPod dock manages to pack an awful lot in. In addition to the iPod /iPhone dock there's a DAB/FM/AM radio, USB digital input and analogue in. There's also a video output so that you can show video from your iPod/iPhone on your TV whilst listening on the SR80i.
When it comes to sound quality, the SR-80i is in a different league to most rivals. Not only are there stereo speakers with a bass reflex port for added bass, but the SR80i also uses a full digital amplifier circuit. This means that from the iPod/iPhone to speakers, the signal is kept in the digital domain for a lossless, distortion free sound. If this wasn't enough, MaxxAudio technology also uses Digital Signal Processing to provide MaxxBass - a powerful sound that you wouldn't credit from such a compact dock.
Other neat features with the SR80 include a remote control, music mute with incoming phone call on iPhones and, of course, the ability to charge your iPod/iPhone whilst docked.
Super stylish and punchy performer, the Teac SR-80i is hard to beat at this price.
